Golom was an NFT trading platform for pro traders along the lines of blur.io (Blur was a direct competitor). The team was a huge fan of Lord of the Rings (Gollum → Golom) and wanted the project to reflect that. As a fellow LOTR aficionado, I pitched in to help - and did their entire branding, illustrations, and product design.

I adopted an isomorphic, Lego-inspired aesthetic for the illustrations. Since we couldn’t directly use references from Lord of the Rings without getting a lawsuit, I had to plug in a bunch of easter eggs throughout the product to remind people of Golom.

The illustrations were all made with Figma.
